Built on Purpose
January 19th
You were never meant to sit on the sidelines of your own life. God created you with intention, strength, and vision—long before you ever questioned yourself. Every season you’ve walked through, every delay, every detour has been shaping you for what’s next.
What you sometimes call “messy,” God calls molding.
What you call “wasted time,” God calls training.
And what you call “not ready,” God calls chosen.
There are layers to you that are still unfolding. Gifts you haven’t fully stepped into yet. Confidence that’s being built quietly behind the scenes. God has been preparing you for rooms you haven’t entered yet—and when the time comes, you will walk in knowing you belong there.
You are not here by accident.
You are not behind schedule.
You are built on purpose—for purpose.
Scripture:
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
— Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
Prayer:
Father God, thank You for reminding me that my life has meaning and purpose. Help me trust the process, even when I don’t understand it. Give me the confidence to show up fully as who You created me to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Play of the Day:
Walk in confidence today knowing you were created on purpose, for a purpose.
Reflect:
Jeremiah 29:11; Psalm 138:8
