"Strength for Today"
January 20th
Heeey my sister in Christ. Listen....Some days you wake up strong.
Other days you wake up tired before the day even begins.
But here’s the truth: God never promised you would have strength for the whole year, the whole season, or the whole journey. He promised you strength for today. God gives us THIS day our daily bread. Period.
You don’t need tomorrow’s grace yet.
You don’t need next month’s strength yet.
You only need what God is giving you right now.
And right now, He is sustaining you. And He is most definitely sustaining me in this season.
When you feel like you’re running low, remember this—God specializes in refilling empty vessels. The same God who carried you through yesterday is more than enough for today.
Scripture:
“As thy days, so shall thy strength be.”
— Deuteronomy 33:25 (KJV)
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for giving me the strength I need for today. Help me not worry about tomorrow, but to trust You in this moment. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Play of the Day:
Take today one step at a time. Don’t rush ahead of God.
Reflect:
Isaiah 40:31; Matthew 6:34
