Sis, life sure throws some hurdles our way, but you better believe God's got a plan. See, God plants that vision in our hearts before the storm hits. It might come through a dream, in the midst of prayer, or when someone close shares it and confirms it with us. Sometimes, it's a small whisper from God while we're digging into His Word.
He gives us that vision so we know where we're headed. When we're stuck in the shadows, Listen... it's easy to forget the glory at the end of the road. But that's when we need to hold tight to the vision. God gives us a sneak peek of what's coming so we can keep striding in faith and not get caught up in despair....in what we don't see YET.
The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:36, "You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised." In other words, to claim God's promises, you've got to hang in there. When life's tests pile up, it's tempting to throw in the towel, but that's when we need to lean on God and let His strength carry us.
We hold on to the vision because that's what'll get us through. No matter how many reasons our circumstances give us to doubt, we keep moving forward, trusting that God always keeps His word. Check out what He says in Habakkuk 2:2-3, "Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay."
We live in a world that thrives on instant gratification, but God's got His own timetable. His ways are higher, His view is broader. Our Creator knows the details that escape us, and He works in mysterious ways. His timing may not match ours, but you can bet your bottom dollar it's the best timing.....PERIOD!
Take a page from Joseph's book - the guy with the coat of many colors. God showed him in a dream that he'd rise above the rest, but after that, life went downhill fast. He was betrayed by his brothers and ended up as a slave for two decades. Yet, his dream finally came true when he became a ruler second only to Pharaoh.
David's another example. Anointed to be king, he spent years running from a jealous Saul who wanted him dead. But eventually, David took the throne of Israel....and became King JUST like God said! Through Joseph, David, and countless others, we see God's faithfulness. So even if that vision seems delayed, trust it's coming right on schedule.
If God came through for Joseph, David, and ME, He's got your back too. Keep the faith, sis. Our Father's got an abundance of blessings just waiting for you. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." So don't you forget - keep holding on to the vision Girl. 🙌🙏❤️
